1. What RoomWave Is
RoomWave Zimbabwe ("RoomWave", "we", "us") is an online marketplace connecting people looking for rentals (rooms, flats, houses, student accommodation) and home services (cleaning, plumbing, gardening and similar) with landlords and independent service providers who post listings. We are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, any rental agreement or service arrangement made between users.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration details and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false listing information, attempt to defraud other users, or otherwise abuse the platform.
3. Wallet, Fees and Payments
RoomWave uses a prepaid wallet. Posting a listing and unlocking a listing's contact details each cost a fixed fee, shown before you pay. Wallet top-ups and fees are currently processed manually (EcoCash, cash, or bank transfer) and confirmed by our team — funds are not automatically verified in real time. Wallet balances and any promotional credit have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable except at our discretion. Organization subscriptions are billed as a flat recurring fee for the plan period selected at signup.
4. Listings
Landlords and service providers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including price, location, photos and availability. RoomWave may remove any listing that is fraudulent, misleading, duplicated, or violates these terms, without refunding the associated posting fee.
5. Organization & Institution Accounts
Organizations (multi-property landlords and institutions) may add staff members who act on the organization's behalf; the organization owner is responsible for all actions taken by staff. Institution room-allocation data (units, applicants, assignments) is a private administrative tool for that institution's own use — it is never published or made searchable, and is visible only to that institution's staff and the students it concerns.
6. No Guarantee of Outcome
We do not guarantee that any listing is available, accurate, or that any transaction will be completed successfully. Always verify a property or service provider before making payments or commitments outside RoomWave.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of RoomWave after a change means you accept the updated terms.
